I am an Oral Surgery specialist and Aesthetic Medicine practitioner. I have worked in this field for over 18 years. My original, registered and prescribing qualification in Dentistry was completed in 1989 and was followed by qualification in Medicine at St Bartholomew’s’ Hospital, University of London in 1998. I have had considerable hospital experience in the field of Maxillofacial Surgery and gained a postgraduate dental fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons (FDSRCS) in 1997. I am a Member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons.
For ten years after my initial degree, I worked in London teaching hospitals, in Southend and Poole General Hospitals. Some of my early postgraduate research involved psychology and facial aesthetics, which together with my love of anatomy- led me into the field of Cosmetic Medicine.
