In October 2010, the Government implemented a change in the regulation of providers of cosmetic laser treatments, and some surgical treatments including the use of anti-wrinkle injections such as dermal fillers and neurotoxins by totally removing these from the regulatory body, namely the Care Quality Commission, that had previously overseen standards.
